I am basically computer illiterate and have just ordered a 110 HD unit. Is there a "fix" or program that would allow me to view the video through my lightening/card reader?

I don't have an iPad but the ITB-100HD records in AVI format. If it can play AVI files, it should be able to play those video files. Note there is no software for the Mac / iPad so you won't be able to see the speed, g-sensor and map.
