I have an 0803 which does exactly what I want it to.
I have had it fitted to my last 3 cars.
2015 VW Passat B8
2013 Octavia vRS Combi
2012 Octavia vRS Hatch
Now I have purchased a 2017 Ford Mondeo ST Line which has Traffic sign recognition among other stuff.
I normally was able to place to 0803 discretely behind the mirror of all past 3 cars, but this one has a huge housing for the traffice camera and other gizmos. This results in very liitle option to fit the dashcam discretely.
I cannot hide it behind the mirror so itt has to go mre to the passenger siade at the top of the screen,
This would be fine during the day but at night I could not cope with the distraction of it lighting up.
Can the screen be turned off in this?
I could put some black tape over the flashing light(s) to dull them down a little.
Any help appreciated as I really do not feel comfortable driving around without this in my car. At this stage I have gotten so used to having one, it feels as bad as driving with no seat belt on .
