Does anyone know what might be going on here?
I just got myself an A119s and purchased a Samsung Evo+ 128gb microsd card with it (80mb read/20mb write)
It's a class 10 card.

I formatted the card in the camera. It starts recording and when I press "rec" to stop it it starts beeping (two short beeps, keeps repeating) until I press "menu". If I press the exclamation mark to view the files on the card I can actually see the files (and play them!) but as soon as I put the card in my PC it only shows the folder "DCIM" and nothing else. I tried another sd card (32gb) which worked fine.

Is this just an sdcard issue or did anyone else experience something like this? I hope I didn't waste my money on that Samsung card.

Thanks in advance!

The 128GB card seems fake. Test the card using H2testW and if it doesn't pass, return it.

There are a lot of fake cards out there where did you get it?

Try formatting it in the computer with https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/ (don't use built in windows/mac formatting)

Then test it with H2TestW.exe
https://streetguardian.info/support#software
(see Memory Card Test)

After the test post the results.

Put the card back into the camera, and re-format it in-camera.

If the card is legit, could be failing. Some new cards (any brand) are faulty now and again.

Test with another card if you have one to rule out the camera
