Sending back my Drive Pro 200

I just received my DP200 yesterday from Amazon after sending back a Papago GS200 that had crazy rattle sounds in the audio that my car does not make. Now the Transcend has an upside down screen and the resolution is off at power up. I found out I can fix this by removing the micro SD (also a Transcend) before powering on, but that is not going to be a long term option. See attached for what I'm talking about. This is running the most recent 1.22 update.

Anybody recommend any other similarly sized/priced cams?

Update: Doing a factory reset seems to have fixed the issue. I just saw that 1.25 is now available. Does Transcend post some sort of changelog anywhere?

Consider the Street Guardian SG9665GC from @Pier28

Possibly a little more expensive than the Transcend, but much more discreet.
