Smooth playback

Hello. I am not technical and know nothing about dash cams. However, I was persuaded to purchase a 512gw.
Can you please tell me why playback on my PC is not smooth.....it sort of keeps stopping ?
Also, I have tried hard to upgrade but have given up as nothing seems to happen, I don't mind waiting, but for how long ?

Stuttering playback can occur if you try and playback directly from the cam or card. Try copying some footage to your hardrive and playback from there. If there is still a problem it might indicate an issue with your PC.

As per Antoeknee advice.
But are you using Replay 3 to view your videos.
I think Replay 3 is fairly processor intensive and I get occasional stuttering on my PC which is quite powerful. (i7 CPU 8GB ram)
You could try another media player to see if that improves the playback.

If Replay 3 is causing problems you could try Irfanview. Great piece of freeware that displays almost any video or still format.

I have the same problem with the 512gw. not a problem with the 312gw using same settings (1080p@30fps) plus...... another thread methinks!!
