I use time lapse (5 fps) in Parking Mode. I can scroll thru each Viofo VS1 video quickly in 15+ seconds. I stop when I see something.
Instead of manually scrolling thru each video (each video covers 1 hour of parking mode), is there software that can scroll thru many videos and detect which ones have activity? There are software for comparing files. It's a shot in the dark but likely no such thing for video files?
Why do I want this? It will save so much time. No scrolling thru each video file. The software will only alert me or flag videos that have activity. The parking mode video will have a static scene for 90% of the time. Only when someone or something crosses the FOV of the camera will look different. Such software wil probably detect changes in pixels in the static scene.
The above is wishful thinking. 🙂
