Somehow...i ended up with 3 dogs.

I have been living in a 'no pet' rental the last year, which happened to have a resident breeding pair of stray dogs already homesteading on the block.

All the homes on the block fed them, but they were 'unofficial' residents.


8 months ago the female dropped a litter of 7 in the carport of the house across the street.

The father is a big black mixed mutt. Smooth coat...body of a great dane, head of a lab.

Mom is a generic brown mutt....about 30 lbs.

We managed to find homes for the pups.

One was claimed by a friend, and i had permission to keep him for a few months.

Short version....that home fell through.
He was adopted by a family 3 to 5 km away from me.

6 days later he shows up at my door. Skinny. Wounded. Dirty.

I decided to keep the little (22 kg at that point) bugger.

My house was not suitable for dogs, i started looking for a better place.

This month i am moving to a larger house with a huge fenced yard....actually farmland i have access to.

Hes about 24 kg now, 8 months old.

I like dogs, but this was not planned.

I like dogs too, but i am not in a place where i would get one.
They all love me though.

My friends 2 girls which absolutely do not like me.

Dogs are great, and it’s good that you were able to keep him after everything.

The 60 lb 'baby' who is one year old, now. He likes to escape the yard and go swimming with the local water buffalo.

Doggo can not have too many friends, it is a tough life out there / anywhere.

Two years old. 65 pounds

The dogs let us know when there are snakes or other reptiles in the yard.
We had a large asian water monitor a few months ago.
