Hi all.

Have just purchased 2 Kingston 64GB micro SDXC 1 class 10, I have formatted it to exFAT using the in camera formatting tool and it tells me it has formatted it OK.

It records OK but when playing back via the camera there is a very loud hiss on sound, (not permanent but intermittent enough to be very annoying),

I have tried reformatting and formatting to FAT32, but it makes no difference. There is no hiss when I play it back via a card reader.

My 16Gb has no such sound problems when playing back via the camera

Any ideas what it could be and a resolution?

Thanks

Playing back videos with the card in the camera is never a good idea and since the hissing sound is not in the recordings, it probably has something to do with the reading speed of the card being too high for the camera's card reader. What class is the 16GB card?

Thank you.

It has played back well using a 16GB card for over 12 months, the 16GB card card is class 4.

The camera, according to the manual is capable of using up to 128GB with a minmum class 4.
