SSD recommendation, Multiplexing suggestion, new OTA firmware

Dear All,

I have A329s with internal and rear cam. I'm using with external SSD with 2.5m cable. I take a risk and bought not recomemded 2TB SSD kioxia exceria plus g2. it was half price of recomemded SSD's. it is working like a charm with maximum bitrate. Not single error with my SSD. I would like to share with you.

I have also question regarding latest OTA firmware jan 2026 from viofo dashcam app from iphone.

1- Is it Beta, RC or Alpha firmware? I dont like tu use beta firmware. if it is beta there should be a warning imo. If it is alpha why it is not listed in official page?

I have a suggestion regarding multiplexing recarding with 3 cam. The recorded video size is square. Front cam on top and rear and internal cams at lower side. combined video is not phone or youtube friendly. My suggestion is to convert the combined video to16-9 format. Front cam on left and rear and internal cams on the right hand size of video.

Multiplxed video 16-9 format. Phone/tablet and television friendly format.

It is better to use the new APP called "VIOFO Dashcam", for future firmware updates, only the new app will be compatible with the new app.

Different multiplexing style will have "black area" in the combined video.

1- I am already using VIOFO Dashcam app in my iphone. I have updated firmware via my app.
2- Current multiplexing style has bblack area on right and left hand side. My suggested multipled video will be 16-9 format and there will be no black screen on phone, TV and youtube. Pls read my suggestion again.
