Stamp date is not accurate

Brand new unit……

Had my time and date synchronized with my iPhone 12 Pro and noticed that the time is OK, but not the date. Always remains on 01-08-24. No matter what I do, and that includes uninstalling app/reinstalling and going back into settings, making necessary changes again, and when that didn’t work, I went and changed it to default, reinstalled all the settings again and nothing works. Anybody else have had issues with this? Firmware up-to-date.

Current date today, August 1.

Looks fine to me, but you might want to change the date display format to "USA"?

I must be going crazy. You’re right, I thought I had it set for month then day than year. That threw me off. You guys must be having a good laugh about this one. I think I’ll have a hot toddy, and call it a day. thanks guys.
