Just the A329 as Benchmark/Comparison (The Blackvue is also very strong in this situations but completly falls apart at night)

With the plate-fix you can pretty sure that the plate is "539-VF"
Without plate-fix there is no chance to get every letter.
My conclusion regarding daytime-footage.
The footage with platefix is clearly darker/less exposed.
Sometimes there is a difference in license plate capturing. That difference is minor but existing and sometimes it CAN lead to better license plate capturing.
I did no night comparison yet. But so far I would recommend using PlateFix.
(Also tested the capturing-feature for Vueroid, there I can see no differences at daytime)
Same findings for me, I wonder what they're doing to get it down to this but it seems to be working well enough. At night I didn`t found any situations where PlatePix made a difference in license plate capturing.
Higher contrast, easier to read license plate. Yes.
But on a 30min country-road-test-drive I found exactly no situation where you can read the Plate with PlatePix while you can`t with standart-settings.
Just a comparison for the exposure.
