Boy first time using them, on my new a329s, put them on both front and inside cameras, also on rear, stayed on one day on both front cameras, back still on, but peeling a little, redid both front cameras, will not use that stuff again! And yes all glass cleaned 3 times before using, will redo back tomorrow
Thanks

I have had no problems with them the few times i have used them.
They do seem to have a right and a wrong side, and of course only work on absolutely flat / smooth surface, so in general i can not use them in car as i mount on dotted area on top of windscreen.

Absolutely not a expert with these.

I was also going to suggest that perhaps the static sticker was installed backwards. I’ve done this a few times myself and was surprised at how well it doesn’t work when backwards…

No it was installed the right way, it was good a few days then started peeling on both cameras on front, back is still working but not good, but just put them up the old way
Thanks

Interesting.....so far I have installed 3 Viofo cams using the static film and cam stays on. Its been 6mos. Summer is coming, so we'll see what happens.

Hmmmm....this is weird. I have not had the Viofo static come off the front or the back glass; on the back glass it is placed dead on the defroster wires. Of course, one can't put the static sheet on the frits.

I no longer use the static sheets, but when I did, I left the pull-away protector on the camera side of the static sheet. That way, if I needed to remove the GPS base, the static sheet would still be on the glass for a second use.

Mine been on since Sept 25, with no issues. Cleaned window with glass cleaner, and stuck the peeled side on glass.
