Staying on all the time with power magic pro.

Hi guys. Recently took my 650 and power magic pro out off my car and put it in my new car however now it will not go in to parking mode using the power magic pro rather staying on and powered constantly recording all the time.

I have wired the acc lead off the pmp to a fuse that turns off with the ignition and the batt lead to a permanent live.

I'm sure I have the correct settings in the Blackvue too, ie it is set to auto switching and parking mode is ticked, maybe not??

Can't figure out what's going on lol.

yes the correct setting is for auto switching to parking mode is on. have you checked that the wiring is correct?

You didn't mention if the black wire from the Power Magic Pro is grounded or not. Sometimes the ground connection isn't touching anything metal.

Actually, Alexsoll is right, the dash cam detects parking mode with the G-Sensor.

Thats why when you drive off it comes straight out of Parking Mode (G Sensor has detected movement)
