Teye ADR3000 --- anybody used this model

I brought this about 1 year ago
And just never used it ,
Was not iOS Mac friendly ,
There website was pretty convincing in selling it though

Is there any user reviews on these units on here ,

Instead of purchasing another camera for the second car ,
Was thinking of bringing this back To life

Years ago. This was my first dashcam. Damned expensive & not best quality.
However, it did save me/ my insurance company potloads of cash when some nob overtook me through lights (T junction, 2 lanes, left turn only) then cut me up.
Although you could see my ugly mug on the interior cam, you could also see the other guy tearing down the road.
The vid quality was also good enough to take a still showing his front wheel crossing the white line into my lane.
Bought a similar one for the OH from Maplins - although she never used it. :roll:

I stopped using mine when it started making strange squealing noises every so oft. I discovered that it wasn't actually recording at these times.

Having used many cams since, I realised their software was really mostly gimmicky. It's OK displaying your speed - but I could never see the point in those shock sensors displaying which way the car was bouncing or watching the car's progress on google maps.
If it still works, you might as well put it to use.
