Hi, am thinking of buying an F750 front camera as worried about loss of DAB signal if I go for the rear aswell...

Questions: can you turn off the GPS or speed display on the video?

Never had a dashcam or edited any video footage from an SD card is this easy to do and do you need any special programmes/software to do so?

Do they still come with the grey coloured 3m sticky mount, if so can anybody recommend any black pads?

Thanks for the help.

Dan

Gps and speed are always on on
however the speed is not "stamped" on the image itself, but shown in the software.
So if you'd play the clip in Windows media viewer, no speed is shown

you can not edit with the thinkware software, but there are other programs like "dashcam viewer"
that let u do simple edits.
(though if you only use the camera in case you're in an accident then editing is not too important)

black tape: i bought 3M 5952F (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/B00EDLPG7Y)

Hi i,m new to this dash cam era . I have done a fair bit of resurch and after some time have come to the conclusion that the thinkware f750 2ch is the best on the market for its price . As i said I'm new to all this and any advise on the best way to install /tips would be great .The reason i ask i have read that some people have had problems when installing the rear cam lead as it seams to cause interfirence ? .Thanks

Same here. A lot of people seemed to fit the Blackvue but I read negatives about the parking mode but also that the rear camera and/or cable causes interference with DAB. I did a lot of testing with my F750 on this issue and at least as far as my car is concerned (Audi S5 sportback) there is absolutely no DAB interference. Also my cable is probably closer to the antenna than most people's since I fed the cable directly above the headlining rather than along the edge from pillar to pillar.

However what the camera cable does do is interfere with the GPS receiver if it is too close to the top and/or front of the F750 main camera. Depending on how you install you might need to put effort into this and be prepared to adjust the routing.

If you want parking mode then you need to buy and use the hardwire cable.
