Thinkware F770 and MicroSD Cards

New Dash Cam supplied with a TW branded SD Card, had trouble with the SD card from new installation but eventually got around that by formatting and downloading latest firmware.
The other disappointment when playing back is the slight jump/judder between clips when the clips are played through the Thinkware Viewer on the Mac. (OS Sierra).
I then noticed that some clips are not being played to their full extent, i.e. jumping to the next clip before the end of the previous clip even tho the times are sequential.

I emailed Thinkware about the same issue between clips when playing back clips though the Thinkware media player. I also have a Mac but am still on Mavericks.
They told me to use Quicktime player if I wanted to play clips sequentially without interruption!!!!!
I've never heard a manufacturer recommend customers use a competitors product to make theirs work before ... go figure eh!?!
Says a lot about the confidence they have in their own product if you ask me.
