I only use the camera to record time lapse sunsets. When there are moving clouds in the sky, acceleration is seen in the motion picture. I record with a period of 2s, which is not constant, there are delays of up to 1 second, which is seen in the time lapse as uneven movement of clouds (occasional accelerations are detected).
Is there any solution to this problem.
An external intervalometer is out of the question as the camera is too slow for a 2s interval.
One of the options would be to record a video with let say 2f/s and then in post-production I take every second, third, fourth, ... image, depending on the speed of the clouds, and make time lapse with 60f/s to be more smooth.
