Hello Dash Cam Talk

i just recently purchased this product and have it installed. I have some questions.

1. How long does it take for pittasoft to give you your cloud security code?
2. How do I get the time to synchronize properly?
I tried using the setting on the Blackvue App C but it's not updating correctly.

Hi. Don't know about the cloud code, but there is a time synch download at blackvue.com/support/downloads.

I thought with the wifi models that you don't need to use this script.
 
Hi @Deaearator to sync the time set your time zone in the wifi app and click time sync.
You may notice the minutes is correct but the time zone is still a few hours off, if that's the case format the card and reinitialize it and it should be the correct time.

Hi,

It may also be worth trying this method:

1. Power on the camera as per normal
2. Wait for the GPS to connect (ie after 5-10mins of driving)
3. Hold down the WiFi button for 10-12 seconds
4. The camera will announce 'Formatting the sd card'
5. The time also tries to re-sync in this process
6. Please re-check the time after the camera has rebooted
