Mobius x3, G1W held as spare.
I can have many 'incidents' in my normal working day & I always note down the time so that I can refer back to them later.
The problem is, even though I have the latest downloads & everything is up to date, the cam is supposed to take its time off the internet, but an incident noted at 13:05 (for example) will be found on the SD card at around 13:06/07 and the timestamp on the clip will bear this out. I've even had instances where the news at xx has come on the radio & the timestamp is way off this!
My mobile phone takes its time off???
My watch, alarm clock & various other clocks around the house all take their time off radio signals, so they are always supposed to be right on time.
My watch, phone & other radio controlled clocks all show the same time - so why isn't my mobius getting the same time?
It's not a huge annoyance - just an irritation.

BTW, I have 3 mobius cams, I've swapped them all round & they all do the same - so it's not a quirk of one camera.
Any thoughts?

Silly question mate but your laptop shows the right time?

It should be set to update via something like Microsoft's NTP Servers but if that's not working and it's out that would take all your Mobius cameras with it as the way I understand it mSetup syncs the time of the Mobius camera with your PC? Not sure how much lag there is though between it being set and taking effect (ie does it just set it there and then or does it write the time to the config file which takes effect at next reboot). @Isoprop would know exactly.

There is no config file involved in mSetup. Everything is done real-time using USB communication. Normally, the time will be set accurately, maybe within 100-200 ms, but will depend on your PC's activity. For example, if the PC is downloading a Windows update or your anti virus program is scanning a disk then USB communication may be slowed down. Of course, if your computer's clock is not correct, the Mobius' time will also be incorrect.
You should also be aware that each file has three time stamps: Created, Modified, and Accessed. In Windows you can configure which time is shown in Explorer.
If you enable the time stamp in the Mobius parameter settings (mSetup) the time shown on the video should be accurate to within ¼ second.

Thanks guys. I'll give it another go, making sure nothing else is running.
