Hello guys 😀
A month ago I mounted a remote engine start alarm on my car. It looks good...but it's not.
The alarm works fine, the remote start works fine...but the problem is that the engine is turned off aleatory. The alarm is set to turn off the engine after 10 minutes after the remote start but, I don't know why, it turns it off after one minutes, two minutes, etc.
These are the two "deviations" I made from the original alarm diagram:
1. I set the system for the automatic transmission, but the car has manual transmission. I made it like this because the steps to activate the remote start are annoying. So, in order to avoid any risks with the shift stick left in gear, I mounted two magnetic contacts (reed contacts) on the shift stick and I wired it to the hood switch wire. So, if the car is in any gear, the engine won't start from the pager, indicating that the hood is open. It works just fine. 😀
2. The starter interrupt relay was not mounted. No one will steal the car....I hope 😛
The car is a Volkswagen Passat 35i (B3), 1993, 1800 cmc. There's not much electronics in it, so I don't see the problem coming from the car.
Here is what happens:

Any thoughts about this behavior? 😛
