Two Bugs Found - Emergency Lock Related

I'm using the 2017.10.13 firmware. I'll update to the latest Nov 1st firmware but I didn't see anything on Emergency Lock.

Bug #1
When parking guard is on and you activate emergency stop the camera the camera stops recording for 8 seconds while it creates a new file. The parking guard icon flashes during this time. Turning off parking guard disables this problem.

Bug #2
If you don't plug in the rear camera and you press emergency lock, everything freezes. The camera will still display a live output from the lens but everything else doesn't work. The timer is frozen in place and the buttons don't respond.

we got the 2# bug re-act here, but for 1# we only get 2 seconds but can't repeat your 8 seconds issue. Can you help to make a short video clip so we can check what happened?

time difference may vary with different memory card, how full etc

Hope that helps. I don't remember what SD card I was using at the time. It could have been one of the Transcend // Sandisk High Endurance cards as those are slower than the UHS-1s I have.
