Updated software

judt reading on this thread about people updating there firmware, beta and other such things....
Do I need to do any of this or can I just leave the camera doing its thing?

The Beta's have come a long way since the last final release but if the version you're on is working well for you, you could wait till the next final version.

I would recommend updating to Beta 26.

Updating to a Beta is your choice, you don't HAVE to do it, but it usually fixes minor issues that may crop up, so alot of people do.
Like @niko asked, what version are you on now?

As per official public firmware it has stable performance, no major bugs etc., it's just with beta-FW there are further additional minor adjustments made, or some extra functions added which of course take time to fully test and confirm before public release.
Latest beta v27 has been performing well so far. If anyone want to test it can be downloaded from here:
