Updating dashcam

Hi.

Am after a new dashcam when I pick up my new car, I need something with the ability to view in very low light (ninja cyclist keep appearing out of the dark) as well as some into the sun driving, I want it to use a sdhc/sdxc card, and have gps, while not after a million dollar camera I would set a limit of about $500 preferably less.

Have a panorama SII very good but in very low light.....

Any thoughts?

Due to limitations in CMOS technology what we have of night performance in good dashcams is about as good as it get.
Cant recall what the panorama S2 is based on, but the Sony IMX 322 in a well tuned firmware seem to be as good at it get, sadly there is no significant gains in the night performance of dashcams.
