I have 2 x A129 Pro Duo setups and was sorting through the boxes looking for spare mounting adhesive pads (which I found!) and discovered a small black, Viofo-branded USB connector. It's about one and half inches long by 3/4" wide. When you pull the cap off it exposes a USB connector, and this is recognised as device by my PC but without contents.
Anyone know what it might be for please? TIA.

You are supposed to insert a microSD card into the end of it, then it becomes a card reader...

Thanks Nigel. That's really useful - I wonder why I've only got one (possibly because I initially bought a Pro Duo pack but the second system was assembled in bits and pieces until I finally bought a second front camera unit?)

I think they were introduced with one of the A129 dashcams, so your first was probably before they got added to the box as standard for all Viofo dashcams.

Thanks (again!) Nigel. I've now used it to access my spare SDcard and it works as you say. Thinking about it, Its also small enough to now keep the card in it and travel with it. I had previously done that with the microSDcard itself but that is very small and could fall unnoticed from my wallet. Its been a good day...

I normally keep an empty one of them in the car for carrying the microSD card into the house and back - less chance of dropping and losing it on the way!
