Hi, looking to get a A119 Mini 2 and I see from https://support.viofo.com/support/s...mory-card-is-recommended-for-a-viofo-dashcam- that Viofo recommends using their branded memory cards or the Samsung Max Endurance for their dashcams in general. They do not recommend Samsung Pro Endurance and I've searched to see that some others have reported issues using Samsung Pro Endurance in Viofo dashcams ("card slow" error).
The Viofo page shows the newer blue/white colored version of the Samsung Pro Endurance as one of the not recommended cards. I still have some of the older version of the Samsung Pro Endurance that is red/black/white colored (e.g. like the one in this listing https://www.amazon.com/gp/B07B984HJ5) that have never been used. I am not sure if the older version uses MLC memory and the newer version doesn't.
My question is if anyone has used the older version of the Samsung Pro Endurance in their Mini 2 and what's the experience been like. I've been using the older version of the Samsung Pro Endurance without issue in the original A119 (V1) and A119 V3 for several years and would like to continue using them in a Mini 2 since I already have several unused ones on hand.
Also, it seems the "card slow" errors being reported when using the new version of the Samsung Pro Endurance are when they are used with 2CH or 3CH dashcams (e.g. https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threa...h-samsung-pro-endurance-256gb-suddenly.50463/).
