Hi all,
I was hoping the neat USB card reader supplied with the SG9663DC would allow access via the mini-USB via a mini-USB to USB-C into a Google Nexus 5X (Android of course). Plugged it in (with the sd card of course) but have no idea how it would present in Android. Nothing showed up as a new SD card in File Manager and GPSCam couldn't find it either.

Any advice on this?

Thanks!
Cheers

Not sure how it would go through an adaptor, just let me know the details and I'll send you type C card readers instead

Try XPlayer. I havent had much success with GPScam on my Samsung

Thanks Winn0040. I'll experiment when I get the direct USB-C card reader.

Hi Jokiin,
Received - many thanks! Tested with the Usb_C card adapter and Nexus can see the files, but I need to mount the drive before the apps can access it. This needs root access so I'll root my phone over the weekend and try the apps.
Cheers

shouldn't need root access but may need to use a different file explorer, ES file explorer might work

I tried ES File Explorer. I can see the drive and files on that, but the drive doesn't show on DOD so can't select any files.
