I have had the V2000GS for 7 months and today I pulled the SD card and saw several video errors where the DVR stopped recording. I am looking for a reason why it is doing this. The vehicle is being drived at a steady speed when it stops recording and I have no idea why it is doing this. The picture below will show the recordings as shown in Registrator Viewer.

Do you have it set to "Motion Detect"? If you do and you are at a set of lights then the DVR will shutdown when there is no motion detected. Could also be a defective power connection or loose cigarette lighter socket.

Just a couple of ideas.

the exclamation mark indicates a file problem, try a full format with the Panasonic SD formatter tool and look for any card errors or try another card

I will reformat the SD card and if the problem returns swap out the SD card.

Thanks.
