User @Dex_ created a firmware MOD for the A229 Pro. When installed, it allows the A229 Pro to use not only the A229 Ultra's interior camera,
but also the A229 Ultra's rear 4K camera.

Screenshots from the RNE 800 4K rear camera mounted on the windshield to the right of the left pillar
and connected to the A229 Pro with the MOD firmware created by user Dex_.

The Viofo A229 Ultra P stamp on the video means "Ultra for Pro".

I drive a 2 seater convertible. If I mount the telephoto camera to my windshield, is there a way to rotate it so that it points to the rear? I do not want to use a normal rear camera because the wide angle will have too much of me and my passenger in it’s field of view.

Can.

This is the telephoto lens from the A329T.
However, the telephoto lens from the A229 Pro/Plus rotates in exactly the same way.

Thanks. After having someone nearly rear end me because they were on their phone, I decided I needed a rear camera.
You can install a waterproof rear camera.

Thanks. I did consider that option but I was thinking that installation would be simpler if I placed a rear facing telephoto cam on the inside header of my windshield .
