- BlackVue Elite 8/9 & Viofo A329T
I've had the opportunity to try out and review the latest Viofo A329T - 3 channel dashcam with telephoto camera.
Coming from a mainly BlackVue background and unfortunately feeling underwhelmed by the last couple of iterations of BlackVue, who seem to be moving towards a more fleet business model rather than individual user - I've wanted to try and compare to Viofo for some time, seeing other reviews and recommendations of it rumoured to have the best image quality overall.
With the A329T I definitely wasn't disappointed.
The image quality comparison between just the standard 4K front camera on Blackvue's DR970X Plus and the Viofo A329T, the image is better on the Viofo.
Then you move into the range of the telephoto camera which blows the BlackVue of the water.
Because of it's 4X Zoom, you get clear footage of objects further away, critical for those registration plates/license plates, and people recognition etc.
The image quality speaks for itself - as pictures paint a 1000 words.
I highly recommend this as a current go to camera, and I have now switched full time to Viofo as my main camera - but I'm keeping an eye on all the competition.
Image quality is key over all other features.
