Hi all,
Just got my new Mini 2, and was reviewing the videos. I see that as soon as the power is off (ignition off), the video recording stops. Is this normal? My old ITB100 used to record for a few more seconds after ignition off, in case the power failure is due to an accident and the file is not corrupted. I saw some forum entries from September 2024 that talks about the dashcam fixing the files itself (https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/not-able-to-record-in-ts-video-format.51692/#post-624171) but I wanted to check in again to see if I can rely on my dashcam recording the accident, and is able to record the event on the memory card (and maybe even a few more seconds afterwards) so the accident video can be retrieved. Any thoughts / real life experiences?
