What is your favorite firmware for this unit?

The latest (2.002?) doesn't work very well at all in mine... No gps lock, etc etc...

Is there one in particular that seems to be a favorite here?

I was on 2.002 before the camera went for repair. I got a different camera back with 1.009 installed. Apart from intermittent GPS, no problems for the past month, so far. I'm still using the 16Gb Blackvue sd card.

I'm on 1.009 myself right now as I have no interest in that cloud nonsense. The video quality is meh at best.... It's just a dash cam and serves its purpose, but I was expecting more out of the sony HD cams.
