Hello all!

Long-time watcher and new member here!

I’m trying to decide on a dash cam and could use some recommendations. My primary need is to record while driving.

Here are my requirements:

Must-Haves:

1. 2-channel or 3-channel setup
2. Stable footage with the ability to clearly make out license plates of moving cars traveling in the same direction on freeways (65 mph) and dark streets (35 mph) during both day and night.
3. Premium look and feel (no cheap, plastic-y, or clunky designs).
4. Easy footage download on iPhone, Mac, and PC.
5. No external battery pack.

Great to Have:

1. Ability to record audio and video for 10-30 minutes after the car engine shuts down (for police interactions when pulled over). Ideally, this feature should be easy and quick to activate and reliable. I’m okay with keeping this feature on at all times, as long as it doesn’t default to parking mode and stop recording after a few seconds.
2. Capability to record incidents for a few hours when parked on unfamiliar streets. I don’t need this feature on continuously and am okay with turning it on manually.

Looking forward to your suggestions and advice! Thanks!
