Would i turn this on or off for capturing number plates?

It is my understanding that it helps at night and hurts during the day.
I have been trying to test it going into day time sunlight with it on just to see what happens.
I could see it being a little impractical to change so often on a mobius. If I were you when you have a free night I would take two laps around an area you travel often. One with it on and one with it off.
See how much you think it helps in your area and decide if leaving it on is a benefit to you.
