Wifi can't be switched off ?

Wi-Fi is on all the time, even in parking mode.

If you don’t use the Cloud, there’s no real need for it to stay on; it just consumes battery.

I assume there’s no way to change this, since there’s no button on the device that could be used to switch it on or off…?

Yes, a setting "wifi off in parkmode"

On my previous thinkware, wifi would be on on startup and switch off if no connectivity.
then you could always switch it on again with a button

Is the setting to turn off the WiFi only for the elite series?

the thing is, there is NO setting to turn off wifi (or turn on when needed)
