Will this mount work?

I have ordered this mount - https://www.amazon.com/gp/B071W6F1RQ for use in rental car. But how do I use the GPS module, do I need a separate cable?

GPS wouldn't work with the suction mount

But how will the GPS get power and communicate with camera?

You stick the GPS to the mount just like you would stick it to the window, camera still attaches to the GPS as usual

Ok, then if I undestand you. It would permanently all be stuck to the different mount? That would work I guess. Until I wanted to put it back in my vehicle on the permanent mount?

Which is why @Nigel suggested getting a second GPS mount earlier
