I have the Vision S+ trailer 3 camera system made by Lippert/Furrion on my toyhauler. I like it a lot except the rear camera signal isn't always strong enough, especially when going down the highway.
It was originally installed at the trailer factory below the cassette awning. Lippert said that might be blocking the signal so I moved it above the awning and that may have helped a little but not enough. The trailer is 45' long and the signal has to reach the reach the receiver about 15' in front of that.
Im wondering if I could put a piece of coax in and remount the antenna on the front of the trailer? Would that work or maybe exceed the camera spec for the antenna?
