Some news in today that Wolfbox has announced an upgrade to the G900 Pro, the G900 TriPro.

The main changes are that the rear Sony IMX335 sensor has been swapped out for a 2024-release OmniVision OS04J10 four megapixel sensor that (on paper) can capture up to 60fps, but only does so at 2.5K at 30fps here on the G900 TriPro. It is an upgrade most definitely, as the pixel size has increased from 2.0 to 2.9 microns.

Also stated is the addition of HDR on all three channels (finally!) - front Starvis 2 IMX678, the OmniVision rear and an interior camera. All other existing features of the previous G900 Pro appear to remain the same.

It will be available at the end of March, in two versions with the same hardware. The difference between the Bumper version and the Cabin version is that the housing for the rear cameras is IP-certified to be an outside camera (on the Bumper version).

Hi, how important is HDR?

I have been testing AZDOME PG17 Pro advertised as Sony Starvis 2 with HDR . But there is no HDR On/Off option in the menu. From what I read HDR should be 10bit and Color info BT.2020 but I get files that are 8bit and BT.709 which is for SDR.
I don't know is this a deal breaker or not. Don't know what I am missing out. Otherwise the quality is pretty good from the front camera in my opinion.

Well as a person being a frind of another person that was severely bitten by the offroad bug, i would prefer a winch on the front of my car and not a camera.
Also since this is Denmark and off-roading here is pretty much traversing mud holes or slight inclines that is also muddy, well tough luck.
American rock bouncers maybe more luck, though they provably need to stick to a strict firm rock diet then like say places in Utah, cuz otherwise OMG

Seems great to have a STARVIS 2 rear view mirror format camera. Plenty of people love the rear view mirror format.

CPL filter option too!

Different type of HDR that isn't applicable here haha. But I never knew AZDOME got into the Starvis 2 game so that's interesting to see!

Is Wolfbox the same manufacturer as Rexing?

The parts look identical, especially the GPS and the rubber strap.

Photos please

Wouldn't be surprising really if there just using the same ODM, a lot of tech products take this approach

I couldn't find a picture of the Rexing rubber strap.

They both look good anyway.

I think it is common for a manufacturer and multiple brands to cooperate. Sometimes I see 'Brand Cooperation' listed as a contact and that's what it means. It's fine, just interesting.
