I just bought a Yi dashcam but noticed the maximum video length is only 3 minutes and will create a series of 3 mins video. I'm using Sandisk Ultra 32gb class 10. Is 3 mins the default video length or there is something wrong with my SD card?

very likely not, longer file lengths may seem convenient but they are more of a liability and add unnecessary overhead when it comes to file management
