Is anyone else experiencing an issue where the DDPAI Z90 Master shows 0 km/h while driving? Has there been any update or fix?
Thanks.

Hello,

The speed display relies on GPS data. If the GPS signal is not acquired properly, the device may display 0 km/h while driving.

Please note that even under optimal conditions, your device may take several minutes to acquire a signal.

There are various possibilities for GPS abnormalities. Please follow the checklist below to find a solution that suits you:

1. First, ensure that your device has GPS functionality.
2. Make sure your line of sight is not obstructed. If you are in an area with dense foliage, near tall buildings, or close to bodies of water, your device may take longer than usual to acquire a GPS signal. If possible, try moving to a more open area.
3. Some windshields are coated or have other heat-insulating materials that may interfere with GPS signals. Try moving the device outside the window to see if it can receive GPS signals.
4. Try power cycling (restarting) the device.
5. Try resetting your device to see if the issue persists.

Thank you for your response.

I have already tried the following:

  1. My device is a DDPAI Z90 Master and it has GPS functionality.
  2. In the photo I sent, the altitude is approximately 5 meters above sea level, and I had already been driving for about 25 minutes when the photo was taken.
  3. I even removed the camera from the windshield and held it outside the vehicle to test GPS reception.
  4. I restarted the device.
  5. I reset the device to factory settings.
Despite all these steps, the GPS still does not acquire a signal properly and the speed remains at 0 km/h while driving.

Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue with the latest firmware version? If so, is there a firmware update planned to address it?

Hello,

We regret to hear that the problem still exists after trying those steps.

Since the suggested solutions did not resolve the issue, we recommend contacting the seller's after-sales support for further assistance.

If possible, please provide the picture showing the speed remaining at 0 km/h while driving, as this may help the support team further diagnose the problem.
