Start-up problem.

I think that on start-up the camera comes on OK, but after a second or two an overlapping screen comes up. It has a “Settings” icon on the top left corner, ‘USB’ top right corner. Under those there are 2 lines of Chinese text which can be selected by the up & down arrows. At the bottom there is up & down indicators and to the right a black circle with a tick in it. No buttons other than up & down do anything. The view does not take up the whole screen and at the left & right edges can be seen the picture that is there before the USB view appears. How can that overlapping screen be removed?

This is it. Not very clear. The edges which show what is underneath cannot be seen.

Is this connected via usb cable at home to PC or wall socket with usb plug?

What happends when u connect in cat using cigarette lighter power cable ?
