Help With G1W-C Recording

I recently purchased the G1W-C from dreamlover2013 on eBay based on the advice of this forum and website and am very pleased with it so far except for a couple of problems.

1. The camera randomly does not recognize the SD card upon starting the car and tells me to insert the memory card. It must be reinserted and power cycled to begin recording again. It does not seem to be something that is reproducible.
2. Some files are corrupted and cannot be played with VLC, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, or Quicktime. The files that are corrupted happen randomly between good recordings. I have my camera set to record in 2 minute intervals.

I have a Monster Digital 32 GB SD Card

Try a different setting for file length, and try one of the cards recommended here: https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/micro-sd-cards-thread.10814/#post-158755

I've not heard of that brand of card before. I'd try a different card (legitimate brand name) before doing anything else.

Thanks for the input, I have changed the loop time and so far it has been exhibiting the same symptoms.

I will replace the SD card with this Transcend one and hopefully it will alleviate the issue.
