Warbling dashcam

Hello,

I recently fitted a Mini 0801 dashcam ... and it works fine, except that occasionally it freaks out and does this:

Which is ... annoying. If I hold the power switch down (while trying not to have a head-on crash with oncoming traffic), it eventually condescends to switch off. I have exactly the same problem with a Mini 0803 in anther car (sigh). So, I've updated the firmware from 20130922 to 20140812. Hopefully that will help.

But, has anyone else experienced this (and do they know how to stop it?).

So, no replies, thus I am alone in having this problem. Yet it happened in two different units?

I haven't had any customers come to me with this issue, but most problems can be fixed by updating/reflashing the firmware. See how it goes with the updated firmware.

Hasn't happened recently. I have upgraded the firmware. Fingers crossed ...
