Re: 2ch Sony Exmor 1080p + 720p GPS WiFi Andr Ap G-Net Class

But it looks so pretty. Why wouldn't you want to pay almost $400 USD for luxury???

Honestly at this point, considering what we know is coming at the end of the summer months, I don't see why anyone should jump at something like this right now. Wait for the new A7 based cams to start popping out.

Though, I must say, this thing does look rather discreet. I say specifically due to it's size that is, it's too shiny and rich for my blood. Who do they think buys this stuff? Blokes like us aren't made of money. Even if we are, we are cheap.

that rear camera is a bit similar to a front cam we have planned

Re: 2ch Sony Exmor 1080p + 720p GPS WiFi Andr Ap G-Net Class

I have updated information added a lot of links to Korean forums / blogs and youtube videos.
I have sported it about 3 weeks ago. All this time was surfing on forums to collect info.

My opinion: I like it ... ( almost )

What I like:

- functionality ( wifi, gps, ldws, android app, av out, battery discharge protection etc., ... )
- premium quality built and firmware with almost fully loaded functions.
- relatively small front camera size ( flat ), - can be hidden behind wind shield mirror

What I do not like and what can be done better to convince me to buy:

- Glossy surface and gold-plated front lens ring, but I am good in DIY, so plasti dip will sort out this.
- rear camera could be slightly smaller. If they are using 1Mpix ( probably 1/4 CMOS ), then physically rear view camera can be 1/2 the size
- With both cameras recording same time front camera 1080p only 25fps, rear 720p 20fps., - they could do both at 30fps for even better perfomance.

If mine "don't likes" would be solved I do not mind paying 350usd for install and forget high-end product, if it does what I expect and will serve me at least 2-3 years.

Hi,

I'am experience some trouble
It will work correctly with GMT +5 or GMT +7 timezones, but will not show correct time with GMT +6

For example, now it's 11:00 AM, but it will show 5:00 AM, with GMT +6
While with GMT +5 it will show correct time 10:00 GMT or 12:00 with GMT +7

Can anyone test with their 'G-Net Classic Limited', are they experience same problem?

Thanks in advance!

As long as I know, noone else from this forum has this dvr.
I approached manufacturer about half year ago with my interest in this product, but at that time English version was not yet ready. Since then I havnt heard about them.
Best if you write them directly.
