Fair point about user oriented solutions but whether that's worthwhile for sales will always dictate delivery of the products I'd sayApparently, as I always say, we seem to be coming to a conclusion that it would be better to produce user-oriented cameras with alternative solutions, that each user can like the camera that suits them, and that they should use it in different ways by purchasing accessories when necessary.
The a329s series comes completely user-oriented..
I don't know if it will be 4 channels, but if it is going to be a four-channel camera, it would be better to call it A429 A349 A249 or something else.
Let's wait and see, we can say it's almost here..
Four channel if it is indeed coming, could be tied with any product naming release, I mean there were three channel versions of a229 pro and a329 already, so I'm guessing it was just a bump in the ax29 naming scheme year on year.
I do wonder if a329S is what we get for 2025, as an 'S' release kind of year, we haven't heard any new image sensors being in the pipeline from Sony and the Novatek chipset is just that, one chipset (to enable WiFi 6 and 4k60, pretty much just that). So maybe A429 will come in 2026 instead....
