70mai continues on with its 2025 roster of releases with the highly anticipated follow-up to it's successful A810, called the T800 (A810 Plus is now available in China, but with Starvis 2 IMX662 for the rear). There will be two sets: the T800 Premium set and T800 HDR set.
This is a three-channel supercapacitor dashcam, the first for 70mai with an integrated cabin camera. 4K Starvis 2 IMX678 for the front with F1.7 aperture, 4K Starvis 2 for the rear as well, and 1080p cabin camera with four infrared lights (sensor unknown at this stage). Rounding out the main specs are WiFi 6, support for the 70mai 4G hardwire kit (UP04/UP05 depending on region), and 512GB microSD card support. Obviously, this means that Novatek NT98530 will be on board. Dimensions for the T800 are 63mm in height, 123mm in width and 46mm in depth.
HDR available on all channels, and 146 degrees field of view for front channel, 147 for cabin and 146 for the rear channel. Other interesting tidbits is that the rear camera is not RC14, but a new RC41 with 4K Starvis 2 IMX678. There will also be a RC24 rear camera unit available with the Starvis 2 IMX662 unit (1080p) and narrower field of view at 130 degrees.
Frame rates for the three units: 4K 30fps, 4K 30fps and 1080p 30fps, when the front unit is paired with the RC41 as the rear. 4K 60fps is available if the front camera is used in one-channel mode, or when paired with RC24. The interior camera frame rate drops from 30fps to 20fps, when the front camera is recording at 4K 60fps.
Also there may be a silver highlights option for the cameras in terms of colour schemes. ADAS features also make a return, namely lane departure warning, front vehicle collision warning and pedestrian and cyclist detection.
