A139 Pro constant reboot loop

I am experiencing the exact same issue with my A139 3-Channel non-pro. Constant restarts, burning smell of plastic as A139 heats up and finally only records in 1-channel only. What was the resolution?

I see one user switched to a Vantrue N4 Pro so I looked it up on Amazon Canada. It has 2,175 ratings with average score of 4.1 stars out of 5. And on Amazon.com it has a rating of 4.2/5 with over 10,000 customer reviews. Impressive.

I ultimately switched to a Vantrue N4 Pro. It wasn't just the Viofo hardware failure that made me decide. The app was unreliable on my phone. Maybe they fixed it by now, but my N4 Pro has been rock solid.

Would you mind submitting a ticket here to claim a warranty?

Thanks for sharing that. I never bothered to look at any other brand of dashcams except for Viofo but your post raised my curiosity. The Vantrue N4 Pro does have an impressive customer rating of 4.2 / 5 from over 10,000 customers on Amazon.com. That tells me something.

After almost 2 years of functioning without issues, my hardwired (HK3-C) A139 Pro started showing exactly the same behavior, entering a reboot loop about every 30 seconds. Tried it with the original USB adapter, from external USB power bank (rated 3 A max), from 100W laptop power adapter, with card inserted or not, keeps rebooting. Resetting from the Protect+WiFi buttons has no effect. I am currently waiting an answer from the viofo support ticket.

As the warranty will expire in 2 months, I am afraid that even replacing it with a new one, after a while will start having the same issue, without being covered by a new warranty.
