Hi all,

I would be interested in the A119M Pro only if it offers a meaningful image improvement over the A119 Mini 2, which really means plates legibility; we're not trying to make movies here. In theory, the higher resolution should help, but how much? For all the endless videos out there, I couldn't find one showing a direct comparison.

There's another thread about longevity of these cameras, and I don't like that it's normalized now that they're expected to last barely a few years, which is why I won't be looking at the multichannel flagships.

You might be behind the times, but these days, you can't expect your appliances to run smoothly for decades.
This applies to everything from $10 household appliances to appliances costing tens of thousands.

I'm behind the times because I don't think people should be so accepting of bad things, which is what enables them to a large extent?
And that's quite the reach from not liking a 2-year disposable electronics trend to supposedly expecting decades.

I recently replaced my A119 Mini 2 with the A119M Pro, and the difference in video quality is honestly night and day. The A119M Pro delivers a much clearer and sharper image, with noticeably better detail compared to the Mini 2. Overall, it’s a major upgrade in clarity and footage quality.

I have 2 of first version of Viofo 119 and there still running. There have been cooked fried in the sun, in at least 150F car for many days and been frozen to 8F and there still running.
I'm 100% satisfied.
I do have a problem when my wife unplug the cable. I blame it as a design flaw of the cable.
