T800 seems to stopped working with blank display

i'm unsure what's happened to my t800 today as it was working fine until i parked up and turned it off and did some shopping but when i returned to find the display doesn't light up or even work... 😵

what i've noticed with the device:

• it turns on and makes the sounds like its would be working but doesn't show anything on the screen since its blank
• voice commands for enable hotspot works but fails to active it
• status light is blank (no light),
• no recording

Did you do an update before this was happening?

Then you need an older software of the cam.
You can try an earlier beta version, which I have got from 70Mai or you ask for another one.

i was able to get help from 70mai via email which they gave me some sort of firmware to flash which did indeed fix it however i do worry if this might happen again and as to why it happened in the first place

They have different production generations. And it looks like ours don’t get the latest updates this fast as normally.

That’s why you should not update the cam for a while.
I had to downgrade mine to 0.56xx.
But nvm it works and that’s enough 🙂

I have the same issue. The display freezes on the last image, while the buttons still respond. The camera won't recover until I completely remove the power supply and reconnect it. I'm wondering if this is a firmware issue or if anyone has received a fix from 70mai.

at the time i was using v1.4.150 before this happened, not sure if this might be same for you and with a possible bug within this firmware version.
they did give me some sort of beta/test firmware to flash it with to correct it back to normal (it was a much older version)
