New LiFePO₄ Backup Battery Solutions for Dash Cams

I am not saying a website makes a company, as any company can create a website, but the lack thereof makes me suspicious. I can't find anything on this new company whatsoever. New companies wanting to break into the market generally are interested in giving out promotional items to "Raise Awareness" of their brand.

Here, this company with no track record pops on dashcamtalk with marketing and little else. Call me skeptical like you.

Having no track record on DCT means damn little. It is a big planet, and there are regional markets that exist and are serviced by companies never known to the almighty English-speaking market. 😉

As far as I can tell, Core-Mobility is a reseller and not the manufacturer; though Core-Mobility may be a consumer division of Fuentech. The product is very likely a good product; however, they have not learned how to operate outside of their region. My read on their posts is that they are looking for importers...not testers, etc.

We talked to them 2 years ago. Well actually we talked to a international salesman who helps connect businesses to manufacturers. But it was very hard to get answers. It was like a 3 month process to get told it was a 3 wire battery pack. Then we said we would buy samples and the guy kinda disappeared. Not really worth my time.

Understood. I have a copy of their installation manual; it is well done as far as the English language is concerned, but it does have some wording and sentence structure errors, and an item or two about installation that needs improvement. I don't mind helping them correct these items, but I am reluctant to be involved in something where we are uncertain about their intent for the Western market.

I see no physical or online presence (website). I googled their contact information and came up empty. I also cannot locate material regarding their battery outside of the promotional posted here. We shouldn't have to be guessing or speculating if a manufacturer is reputable.

Now you see my point. Presence on DCT itself wasn't my issue.

I agree, but I am saying that not having a presence on DCT does not invalidate the manufacturer or quality of the equipment; they could be operating under a different name in other regions. But...I don't think Core-Mobility, like FineVu, is ready to operate in the U.S. I have several DM/emails with them, and they have provided me with the information I asked for.
