Can I put a larger micro sd card into the cdv 300x?I need longer periods of recording and have already reduced the resolution

if you format the card FAT32 using a 3rd party formatting tool then a 64gb card should work

Yes, but if you attempt format the card in the camera, it will not work again. It needs to be done on the computer via 3rd party utility and then you go from there.
